DIRECTOR

Andrew started as the Saturday maintenance man when GP commenced in 1999. As GP grew the role evolved and responsibilities extended to property purchasing, creating the first partner documents, staff recruitment and company structure. Today strategy, growth, funding and developments are part of his role.

Cunningham

DIRECTOR

Pete has pastored many churches and has always had a heart for the homeless. When a desperate family came along in 1999, Pete cashed in his £6,000 pension and along with his son Andrew and Vicki Woodley purchased two flats. He has been part of GP since its inception in 1999, and is blown away by how the ministry has grown.

Paget-Wilkes

DIRECTOR

Rory completed a Masters in Development in 2001 and worked for BP on security & human rights. Since joining GP in 2007 he has managed the Partnership Managers & Marketing. Since 2002 Rory pioneered Church run night shelters. He is also a church planter with Life Unlimited and teaches at the School of Identity & Lifestyle.

Simon

Westmacott

FINANCIAL DIRECTOR

Simon joined the team in 2014 and the board of Green Pastures CBS Ltd. in 2016. He has acted as an advisor and consultant to government, NGOs, an international commission and private equity houses. Simon is an accountant with a difference offering diverse experience and breadth of business knowledge. He is based in Kent.

FOUNDING MEMBER

Soon after joining Shoreline Church in Southport in 1996 Vicki began working part time for the church. In 1999 she put money where her heart was. She raised funds by mortgaging her investment property and enabling Green Pastures to put £20,000. Vicki is such an instrumental part of the team and in the early days did it all!

National Manager

Andy joined the team in July 2020. He previously worked at Yellow Ribbon as the Head of Operations, managing 38 clients in 8 houses and 5 flats. He also used to be an Operations Manager for YHA, managing 17 hotels. In 2019 Andy was on the steering group helping to set up Hope Church, Oswestry's partnership with Green Pastures.

REGIONAL PARTNERSHIP MANAGER

Since 2017 Martin has managed all our partnerships in the South West.  In 2015, through his local church, he and his wife began The Dwelling Place, a GP partnership supporting single men recovering from homelessness. Martin was formerly CEO of Clean Sheet, an excellent charity providing a 3-step pathway from prison to employment.

North East & Cumbria

Carl has been a Partnership Manager  since 2013 and is also a Regional Manager for the NE & Scotland. He also pioneers and manages a Green Pastures partnership, Lifeline Harrogate. Carl was an Independent Financial Advisor for over 20 years when he met Pastor Pete at a financial advisers conference. Carl lives in Harrogate.

North East

Christa started working with the homeless in Bristol in 2006 at a cold weather night shelter and on placement in a Salvation Army rehab. Since then she has worked in a number of settings in the North East, particularly in supported accommodation for young women. Christa is part time and has been part of the team since Sept 2019.

SCOTLAND

Following many years in a variety of Sales and Marketing roles, Karl worked in the care sector as a therapeutic foster carer, as well as leading a multi-dimensional community outreach hub, operated by the church he is a member of. Karl has a passion for people, their welfare and their opportunities. Karl has been part of the team since January 2021.

NORTHERN IRELAND

After enjoying a successful Banking career, Al refocused his energies to help grow the kingdom influence of his local church. He was employed to help develop numerous embryonic Social Enterprises, helping provide the provision for the vision of the church and release many into employment, building back value, honour and purpose in their lives. Al has been part of the team since February 2021.

Chloe has a professional background in Occupational Therapy, specialising in mental health. With diverse experience in service development for some of the most challenging and complex services in inner London, the combination of faith in Christ and OT training, has equipped Chloe with a strengths based approach and ability to assess client's needs in a holistic, functional and environmental context.

North West

For over forty years Jonny has had a wide and varied career in both ministry and business. In 2015 he moved to Tenerife, as a volunteer in a homeless ministry. Over the last few years, whilst employed by the Church of England, he has worked with very deprived communities and has organised winter night shelters for the homeless.

After 7 years at Christians Against Poverty's Head Office in the Church Partnership team, while simultaneously running the CAP Centre in Bradford, Gareth founded GT Ministries, planting a 'Wrestling Church', a training academy and providing events for churches to share the Gospel through wrestling. Homeless himself at 15, he is now married to Beth with two girls.

After a successful career in education, which progressed to running her own Day Nursery business; Sherry completed a Masters Degree in Theology. The desire to see the lost and broken housed and their lives transformed is very close to her heart, with the goal that they might find Jesus through our actions of love and service.

After completing his undergraduate degree in Applied Theology at Moorlands College, Joshua started his career as a Trainee Manager. Progressing to Assistant Manager gave him invaluable experience, however, Joshua has always been very passionate about seeing faith in action which he is now able to do in South Wales.

For 25 years, Daniel and his family lived and worked in a Christian community focussed on reaching out to people pushed to the margins of society, including those experiencing homelessness. Daniel has also served as trustee and then chair of a charitable housing association. His professional career has spanned building trades, architecture and construction management.

Rob has a wealth of experience working in Housing Management in some of the most deprived areas of Cornwall. Rob has also worked on the ground in various roles including Support Work, Street Pastors and Church Homeless Outreach Teams. Robs passion is to see homelessness end.

South West

Sarah felt called to work with the most vulnerable people groups in the community and has done so for many years. Sarahs experience includes managing a Women's House and Ministry, a Food Bank and a Homeless Outreach. Sarah has a degree in Theology and loves to put the word of God into action.

Simon joined the Green Pastures team in 2018 to head up housing provision in Merseyside managed by Green Pastures. He has over 25 years of experience working in the local church, overseas missions and Christian Charities.  He is passionate about seeing positive changes in our community and making a difference to people. Previous to joining the team Simon worked for Safe for Families starting new church partnerships across Merseyside.

Rachel qualified as a social worker in 2004 and has worked in several settings, including the Leaving Care Team and two homeless hostels. She has also planted three Churches with her husband, and their two young children. Rachel now works as a Pastoral Support Worker at Green Pastures after joining the team in January 2019, and is passionate to help make a difference in the lives of men and women who have been homeless across Merseyside.

Darren was Operations Director of Lighthouse Homes where he established the vision, culture and and 107 beds for men & women that had become homeless. He helped residents battling psychological issues and created homes that cultivate change based on Christian foundations. At GP Darren continues to set up homes that provide change. Darren is currently working on new housing provision across Mansfield, Derby and Chesterfield.

Sue first came into contact with Pete Cunningham at a Christian summer camp when she was younger. Later in life she studied a Housing degree and achieved a 2:1, opening up a career in housing. Sue gained a great deal of experience at Denbighshire Country Council which she now uses to bless Green Pastures as she works with GP Flintshire.

Rebecca has been part of the Green Pastures team since 2011. Becky manages the Southport housing project looking after over 380 tenants. Previously a manager at the NHS, Becky has a degree in business and is married to Andrew with two children. Becky enjoys riding her motorbike, shoes and being a mum!

Sonia knew she would one day have a big house with lots of people living there who would need her support. This dream came true when she became Manager at GP Derby. Sonia has over 35 years of experience and is passionate about supporting those who are struggling with addiction, mental health problems, ex-offenders and long-term homeless.

GP SUNDERLAND

Julie has worked with various charities and local authorities since 1977. She has a wealth of experience with supporting all kinds of people with different needs from substance abuse to young offenders and also as a floating support worker in a residential setting. Julie set up a winter night shelter and was a Street Pastor, before joining GP in 2021.

John-Paul is a broadcaster and communications consultant who has had a heart for the most oppressed and marginalised people since he was a boy. He has spent 18 years working for ITV, Sky and BBC before which he was in the Police. He is additionally  our national marketing advisor and Ukraine crisis co-ordinator. JP has a wife, four sons and loves his Rugby.

Developments Manager

Phil joined Green Pastures Developments in 2019 to provide development management and project advice on growing new development enquiries. Phil originally qualified and worked as an architect, before working in the affordable housing sector, and then held various senior roles in design & construction companies such as Laing O'Rourke, Lend Lease, Hutchinson Whampoa and Barratt developments.

Phil's grown up in his local church and has been there for over 50 years! Together with his wife Melinda, he leads a homegroup at the church and also helps lead Sunday worship.

David

Head

Design & Project Manager

David joined Green Pastures Developments in 2021, with a depth of knowledge cultivated by a background in architecture, working for public and private clients on small one-off buildings to large infrastructural schemes and master plans, both in the UK and abroad. David has worked for Bennetts Associates, Clash Associates, Aedas and AC Building Design.

David is Secretary of Southport Civic Society, as well as an occasional cyclist, all-weather flip-flop wearer, and father to 3 young Liverpool fans.

Joe Joined GPD in 2021 following a 21-year career in senior leadership roles, delivering major developments for leading consultants and developers including Mace, Arcadis, Capital and Counties, and Precis Advisory.

Joe's been a member of Dundonald Church for 25 years, serving as a homegroup and evangelism team leader. He was introduced to GP as he lead on th and loved the vision and approach so much that he joined the team! When he can find the time he loves getting out on a bike or playing a round of golf.

Senior Manager

Having studied Chemistry, Alan's first job was in a local authority housing department. He has broad experience leading teams in larger housing associations and smaller ones, focusing on helping homeless young people.  He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Housing and is delighted that GP’s base is slap bang in the centre of England’s Golf Coast.  Alan lives in Worcester with his wife, Heather, and two teenage sons.

Operations Officer

Dan first worked with the homeless as a Street Pastor in Preston. On joining Green Pastures in 2018, he worked as a Pastoral Support in Southport, gaining insight into the realities and complexities of homelessness. In 2020 he moved to Head Office as Operations Assistant where he is invaluable at formulating strategy and improving performance as we continue to end homelessness in the UK!

We have known Philip for many years and he previously worked for Green Pastures in the capacity of conveyancing our new purchase properties. In 2020 Philip rejoined the team to assist us with support documentation verification, helping each partner to correctly document the support they are giving to their residents. Philip and his family live in Wales and are also involved in one of our partnerships there.

Stuart has worked in the hospitality sector most of his life. In 1999 he joined an international coffee & bakery chain and went on to become head of training and franchise development, overseeing the opening of over 100 outlets around the UK. In 2006 he launched his own Coffee & Tea business which he still oversees today. He is relishing the new challenge of building businesses for the kingdom of our Lord.

Becky is Head of Administration in our Head office in Southport. Becky has a detailed background in church administration and since joining the team in 2016 has managed and pioneered many of our administrative processes.

Veronika moved to England in 2013 from the Czech Republic when she was 20 yrs old. She studied at the Southport Masters Commission discipleship/Bible program for 3 yrs at Shoreline Church where she was introduced to Green Pastures. She joined in 2017 as a loan stock administrator.

Jessica looks after HR based at GP head office in Southport (Union Street). We have a constantly growing team and Jess looks after us well. Jessica joined the team in 2018 and also has responsibilities with admin and some accounts. A fabulous young lady and we are delighted she’s with us.

Diane has over 20yrs experience in various admin roles, including architects, surveyors, pensions investments and support/training services for the homeless and ex-offenders. She has a passion for property and helping people and brings a wealth of experience to her role with us.

Jessica comes from a background dealing with catastrophic injury claims and has seven years of administration experience. In her spare time, Jessica likes to spend time on days out with her partner and daughter, she also enjoy swimming and gatherings with friends.

Charlotte joined the team in 2022. She has over 10 years experience in administration working within the charity sector. She runs a weekly parent and toddler group at her church for the local community, enjoys watching cooking shows and being a mum to her two young Pokémon loving children.

With administration and management experience in housing and property related organisations, Lisa is delighted to bring her skills and experience to Green Pastures.  Lisa joined us in 2022 and also serves as Lead Pastor with her husband, David, at C3 Church Liverpool. They have 2 lovely daughters and no pets.

Matty spent over 20 years working with people on the margins; including in prison ministry, church planting, and setting up social enterprises employing and housing those leaving prison. He headed up innovation & development at Scripture Union, and he also runs Upward Workshops: A consulting and training practice - making work more meaningful, fun and rewarding for everyone.

Louise is responsible for accounts and loan stock registration. The latter is a very significant role as we have over 25 new loan stock holders coming on board every month. Prior to GP Louise worked in accounts for 9 years for construction company Kingswood Homes. Louise has an AAT qualification.

Dan is a self employed chartered accountant who previously worked for  a firm of accountants in Southport. His expertise is in assisting family businesses. At Green Pastures Daniel is responsible for credit control, rent statement management and assisting with system improvements to enhance accountancy performance.

Karen started the role of Credit Control in August 2019 after account managing for a private school and previous to that working for a bank for many years, 14 of them as a Bank Manager. She is keen to develop a good strong relationship with the Partners and Managers to manage the leases of the portfolio effectively.

Vanessa joined Green Pastures in May 2021 and has 10 years experience working within an accounts environment. Vanessa is delighted to join the team and loves to be working in the background to help the Church house the homeless. When she isn’t working she enjoys spending time with her son.

Tessa was born in South Africa and worked in the accounts department as a debtor's administrator for a company handling a book of approximately £50M before coming to the UK in 2018 to make a new, safer life for her family. She is delighted to have the opportunity to do office work again.

Terrie Ann worked in social care before moving to a legal assistant role in a solicitor’s, dealing with personal accident claims. She's passionate about people’s well-being and has studied Counselling Skills and use these in her everyday life. Dave set up the Mustard Tree in Manchester and works for NACCOM in capacity-building and good practice. Dave is a trustee of the Boaz Trust, a charity he founded in 2004, which manages 17 shared houses and runs a hosting scheme and winter night shelter. Dave also coordinates the Refugee Resource Centre for Churches and is the author of two books on asylum issues.

His wide technical & marketing knowledge serves Green Pastures in how we communicate what we offer to the Christian community. Rob built our Green Pastures website in 2019.

Alison began volunteering at a night shelter while studying theology at Cambridge in the 1990s. Alison was the CEO for Churches Information for Mission and for 13 years the CEO of Housing Justice, a national Christian charity helping churches help homeless people and raising awareness about church action on homelessness. She is currently works for Together for the Common Good.

Francis is a serial entrepreneur with interests in media, consultancy, property development and retail. He is a Non-Executive Director of Green Pastures CBS Ltd, Chairman of the Churches Advertising Network,Treasurer of the John Hodges Charitable Trust and Vice Chairman of Henley Rowing Club.

Graham has had a career as an Architect and since “retirement” has been Operations Manager at Guildford Baptist Church. He became a GP Partner in 2007 as Trustee of York Road Project and has subsequently assisted with project management of GP’s first development. He has joined the Board to represent Investors.

Non Executive Director

Roger is Founder and Non-Exec Director of Sonocent (now trading as Glean), whose note-taking software is used extensively by dyslexic students worldwide. He is also a Mentor for the Entrepreneurship and Innovation courses at Bristol University and is on the executive committee of Christians in Science.
