GP DEVELOPMENTS
A BETTER WAY

our vision

IN EVERYTHING WE DO, WE BELIEVE IN CREATING A POSITIVE AND LASTING IMPACT IN THE PEOPLE AND ENVIRONMENT AROUND US.
WE BELIEVE THERE IS A BETTER WAY TO DESIGN, BUILD, CARE FOR OUR COMMUNITIES & ENVIRONMENT, CREATE JOBS AND UTILISE COMPANY PROFITS.
WE DO THINGS DIFFERENTLY. IF YOU'RE THE KIND OF PERSON WHO CARES NOT JUST ABOUT ONE BOTTOM LINE, BUT MULTIPLE, YOU'VE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE.
WE USE OUR VAST AND VARIED EXPERIENCE IN HOUSING, MIXED-USE AND CHARITY SECTORS TO FIND SOLUTIONS TO ALL DIFFERENT TYPES OF DEVELOPMENT.
OUR BUILDINGS GO BEYOND THE STANDARD, OUR PROJECTS BENEFIT THE COMMUNITY AND 100% OF OUR PROFITS GO TO HOUSING THE HOMELESS.
“But as for me, the nearness of God is my good; I have made the Lord my refuge, that I may tell of all Your works."
Psalm 73:28

WHO Are we?

GP Developments is the developments arm of Green Pastures. We dream of ending homelessness. We mainly buy existing property from the open market, however there isn't enough property in the UK for the amount of people. So, our aspiration is to create a new property for each property we buy in order to replenish and increase the available housing stock.

We are focused principally on redevelopments with a build cost in the range of £1m-£15m, working with churches, communities, local authorities and charities. We will also consider conversions. A typical project might be mixed-use (e.g., a Church building with housing) on a vacant site, or a redevelopment of an existing building.

WHy are we diFferent?

We are the developer but can also be the investor, or joint investor. This gives us the ability to fund and deliver projects from start to finish. And, as a funder, we can deliver third-sector projects which may otherwise be unviable.

How do we do things? We put people first. We want to help you, to help your community. We have a Developments Team with a wealth of experience that's ready to get started today.

100% OF OUR PROFITS GO TOWARDS HOUSING THE HOMELESS

“Working with Green Pastures as our development partner has made a real difference on our church development. Not only are they technically sound, but more importantly they have shown a real understanding of Christian ministry and have been unbelievably supportive during our vision for a local contemporary Church."

John Marland
Governing Elder, Dundonald Church

“I am particularly pleased that we have been able to use church land for housing and the wide range of community facilities to begin the major redevelopment of our 'village'. The whole community is what the church has always been about."

Rev Ros Gayler
Former Vicar, St. Marks Church, Marks Gate

On 1st October 2019 we signed a contract to build the new Dundonald church and 18 flats in Wimbledon. The church is working together with other evangelical churches to reach the unreached for Jesus by prayerfully and boldly trying to plant and establish 360 reformed evangelical churches. We are excited to help provide a fabulous facility, strengthening the capacity of Dundonald Church to serve God, teach the Bible and reach out to the local community.

May 2009

Green Pastures' first new build project houses 8 people who were at risk of homelessness in these 6 flats. Since 2009 Green Pastures has collaborated with Greenwich council to allocate tenants to the properties and to provide support where required.

The building has been designed to a high standard providing Code 3 energy efficient homes. This has a significant positive impact on their monthly bills.

We also constructed two 3-bed houses either side of the flats that were sold on the open market.
