Hopespring is a charity working throughout Tyne and Wear that seeks to serve the various physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the region. With a highly committed team of trained staff and full time volunteers, we provide support and care for some of the most vulnerable people in society through our people-based interventions. We have various full time projects that seek to bring interventions wherever they are needed the most.
Our latest project, which opened in March 2018, provides a home and 24/7 support for 6 young women and their babies, some of whom are emerging from the care system. This gives mums the opportunity to bond with their babies and hopefully break the cycle of care.

We are working with local authorities in the region to expand our schools and further our supported living accommodation including an Ofsted registered residential family centre.
