Our Accounts team are the foundation of the Finance department within Green Pastures. We manage the preparation of the financial statements, balance sheet, cash flow, day-to-day reconciliations, payroll, purchase and sales ledgers and Investor Loan Stock management. We also manage and conduct regular internal audits and put controls in place to make sure that we not only comply with all necessary law and regulation, but that Green Pastures continues to operate in good financial health.
In one year the total value of the transactions we processed came to over £719 million, with more than 40,000 individual transactions - this is a lot of work and a lot of responsibility, but something we do with integrity, enthusiasm and passion.
This fantastic role is to support the Directors and Finance team with the administration of investments as we continue to expand in releasing the Church to end homelessness. This job requires attention to detail as you will be checking and ensuring all entries in Loan Stock system are posted correctly and efficiently. Other responsibilities will include producing loan stock reports for the Finance Manager and ensuring all information migrates between Loans Stock and accounts software.
Your role is pivotal to the smooth-running of Green Pastures, directly facilitating the purchasing of houses to provide homes for the homeless.
