We aim to help our residents address their physical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual needs and support them towards acquiring the values, skills and knowledge they need to move forward independently. We support people in realising their worth and their identity. Our goal is to help our residents help themselves. Our vision is to bring hope (where there has been no hope). To enable those suffering the effects of homelessness and exclusion to make the positive changes necessary to lead interdependent and purposeful lives.

We are known as an innovative Christian charity that is an exemplar in the fields of spiritual infrastructure support and community transformation. We support new and existing community initiatives to develop stronger ties and meaningful connections within both the faith community and wider civic contacts. One of our main concerns is to help those who help others, or who need help themselves, to have a voice to influence decision making and service delivery direct from government. Particularly marginalised members of society who rely heavily on such public services as the NHS, Council, Police and transport. We do this by facilitating consultations, input and face-to-face feedback between members of the public and key decision makers.

Spring Mount is a church that wants to reach people for Jesus and we believe that everybody needs to be loved. Isaiah 58 is a key passage for us and we have community meals every week, we provide food for those that are desperately in need, refer to the food bank and run CAP debt centre and all of the CAP courses across our 2 sites, with a view to reaching into a 3rd. The areas our church is now based are wards that are high in child poverty, drug misuse and teenage pregnancy. We want to love our communities and have organised ad hoc housing arrangements over the last two years which have helped individuals immensely, but very much like the Green Pastures beginnings, we see the need to do this in a more organised and sustainable manner.

Based in Basingstoke, Hampshire the organisation started in 2015.  Founder and trustee, Liz Howe, who spent over seven years working at a night shelter, was saddened to see former residents, who had initially found ‘move on’ accommodation, returning to the streets. She became determined to find a way of providing longer term supported housing where people can stay until they are ready for sustainable independent living. This is where Green Pastures started. Based out of Shoreline Church, it is where the majority of Green Pastures' national staff are based and it it's still in many ways the hub of all Green Pastures work. GP Southport currently care for over 380 tenants in the town and in 2006, 7 years after it had started, they celebrated ending rooflessness in Southport. The make up of tenants is diverse and they have a wide variety of support needs. GP Southport provides support to all its tenants, but some need more hands on work than others. All the tenants are welcomed into the community at Shoreline Church to help them reengage with society.

GCP sees lives transformed through community living which brings people into the heart of God’s family. The project supports people coming out of addiction alongside those most vulnerable in society and allows residents to discover their identity free from addiction. Residents not only live together, but they eat, pray and work together. This provides structure, and more importantly creates family, where everyone is included, loved and accepted unconditionally. Alongside family living, the project supports residents through one on one, emotional and therapeutic support, within the community.
