His Provision was born out of a local church soup kitchen/food pantry and registered with companies house in June 2013. Initially operating from the church premises and a small rented shop we were blessed when Green Pastures purchased our multi purpose premises for us in January 2015. The new centre has allowed us to offer supported accommodation to four men, plus move on accommodation for a further two clients. We also host a community hub, free family meal, volunteering opportunities, community café and training centre, and also houses our food pantry.
His Provision is all about Jesus hence HIS Provision. We believe that His love needs to be shown in a compassionate and caring way to the lost, we as His people are compelled to show the world what God looks like and God is love, therefore we need to show His love I all that we do. There is a saying “Actions speak louder than words” and that is so true, we just want to love people into the kingdom. There is a real need in Blackpool, not just with homeless folk but also with families, poverty and deprivation are clear for all to see and we believe that meeting those needs in Jesus name shines a light into the darkness.

Blackpool Council have given us, rent free, a community hub to house another food pantry, community shop, volunteering opportunities etc and we are prayerfully working at duplicating what we have in our existing centre in this extremely deprived council estate. Church Army have also moved into the area at the same time, God is at work and we will also work with them in pioneering a new church in the new centre.
