Our Mission is to provide activities that are free at the point of use to support people who live in deprived areas within the United Kingdom, to care for all people, no matter of background, colour of skin, religion or sexual preference. We show the love of Jesus in action, listening, supporting and helping people in local communities. We work with people in order that they might make a change in their lives, helping themselves out of the situation they are in and moving into a better future for them and their family.
We provide advice, training, food, clothing, household provision, activities to build self-esteem, financial support, money management and counselling. We always seek to work in partnership with other groups and agencies in order to give the best support to each community.
Jesus showed love in action and we should do the same. Every activity is free at point of use, we believe no profit should be made from people in poverty. Our provisions are the hubs of the charity where the people who use our services come to alleviate their social isolation at the free drop-in cafes, to seek help and to commence their journey to recovery.
To ensure every person who is at risk of homelessness is given good quality accommodation and good quality ongoing support. We want to reduce homelessness down to a minimum including ‘sofa surfing’. Our long term goal to manage 100 houses within our support centre area providing accommodation for approx. 400 people
